The Edinburgh Fringe festival is to provide special backpacks for autistic visitors to make the event as accessible as possible, iNews reports. The backpacks will contain a fidget toy, earplugs, a visual story describing street events, a map of Edinburgh and a list of relaxed performances at the festival. Autistic people can bring a personal assistant who will be entitled to a free ticket for the shows their are attending. The backpacks can be borrowed (free of charge) from the Fringe Shop.
