Twitter Q&A with Lynn McCann: autism and education

Join our next education focused Twitter Q&A on Wednesday 7 March with Autism Specialist Teacher & Consultant Lynn McCann. This twitter Q&A will focus on autism and education and will be co-hosted with our fantastic sponsors Axcis Education.

We will host the discussion on our @networkautism account between 4.45-5.45pm GMT on 7 March 2018. The discussion will be from the National Autistic Society Professionals Conference and will give advice and guidance to professionals support autistic children within education. You can follow and take part in the discussion on the day by using the hashtag #autismedchat.

This is a fantastic opportunity to ask your autism questions and get expert advice on supporting autistic children in your classroom.

You can tweet questions in advance using the hashtag #autismedchat, or if you're not on twitter, email them to us at networkautismsupport@nas.org.uk and we'll put your questions to the Lynn during the Q&A - you'll be able to catch up with the responses in the archive we compile on Storify after the event.

I work with students in secondary school and finding anxiety is making life really difficult for them on different levels most from past experiences.

The students try to recognise their anxiety with self regulation and strategies but are very stuck about past experiences.

What can I do to support them further with their anxieties and be able to move forward?
