Autistic people may face cuts to PIP

The Independent is reporting that many disabled people may lose out on Personal Independence Payment due to changes in how the mobility assessment is carried out. People who experience psychological distress when travelling alone will get less support than people with cognitive and visual impairments, despite recent tribunals which advised the Government otherwise.

We’d be interested to know your thoughts on this, and how this change may affect any autistic people you support?

Thanks,

Chris
