BBC Three has produced "I'm Different: Let Me Drive", a series which follows young people with physical and learning disabilities or autism as they learn to drive. The series features several young autistic people and explores the difficulties they face, from being easily distracted, to being over-cautious.
We would be very interested to hear what challenges some autistic people may have in learning to drive and how these can be helped. Do you have any examples of good practice from driving instructors? Do you have any resources that may be helpful?
