Webchat with Carol Gray: 24 March 2015

We’re pleased to announce the twelfth and final webchat in our series of twelve education webchats supported by Axcis Education Recruitment. In this FREE one hour webchat we are going to be looking specifically at the subject of 'social stories to support children and young people with autism'.

We're absolutely delighted to have the creator of Social Stories™, Carol Gray as our expert panelist for this webchat. Carol pioneered the development of Social Stories™ and will be able to give her unique insights into the use of Social Stories™ as well as answer questions on the next generation of Social Stories™

This is a brilliant opportunity to ask the leading autism expert on Social Stories™ your questions on how best to use them to support children and young people with autism.

As ever, you can register your interest and receive an email reminder about the upcoming event below. If you aren't able to make to webchat but want to pose a question then you can email your questions to networkautismsupport@nas.org.uk, tweet them to @networkautism using the hashtag #axcisedwebchat or post them below in this discussion strand.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to the webchat on the 24th March @ 4pm GMT.

Hi, We are a group of SLTs working with primary aged children some with autism. Could you explain a bit about the most effective ways you've found of introducing/using social stories once you've written one for a specific child?

I often suggest Social Stories to schools and although I refer them to your books (and the new website sounds great) staff are worried that they might get the story 'wrong'.  What top tips can you suggest?
