£3.3 million to help disabled young people find work in London

The City of London Corporation's City Bridge Trust has launched Bridge to Work, a programme which aims to support disabled people aged 16-30 to find and stay in paid work, as well as helping employers to develop good recruitment and employment practice.

HR Review reports, that, as part of the programme, the National Autistic Society (NAS) will receive nearly £200,000 to support young autistic Londoners with employment skills and confidence via an online resource. The NAS will also work with job centres in London to raise awareness and understanding of autism.
