Gatwick named UK's first Autism Friendly airport

ITV news reports that Gatwick has been named the UK's first Autism Friendly Airport. The National Autistic Society's Autism Friendly Award champions businesses that commit to making changes to make their premises and services accessible to autistic people. The airport has been praised for providing clear and accessible information for autistic passengers and for the assistance provided by staff in planning journeys.
