Initiative aims to improve shopping trips for autistic children

The Hull Daily Mail reports that Asda have introduced an initiative which aims to make trips to the supermarket less stressful for autistic children. The Happy Little Helpers game is a colourful shopping list with symbols and pictures of food such as milk and bread. The game was developed by a staff member who has an autistic son, and it aims to keep children engaged and make trips to the supermarket feel less overwhelming.
