Lobbying register introduced in Scotland

From today, Monday 12 March, the Lobbying (Scotland) Act 2016 will come into force requiring all lobbying of Scottish Parliament politicians to be registered. The aim of the Act is to make regulated lobbying with MSPs and members of the Scottish Government more transparent. The Scottish Government has produced an information leaflet explaining what regulated lobbying is, how to register and what exemptions exist within the Act.
