Working in the theatre as an autistic actor

The New York Times writes about Mickey Rowe, an autistic actor who is playing Christopher Boone in a Syracuse production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and is thought to be the first openly autistic actor to play the role. The actor talks about the challenges of working in the theatre when you are autistic. The paper also refers to an article written by Mickey Rowe on neurodiversity in the theatre, in which he talks in greater depth about working as an autistic actor.
