Access to physical healthcare for autistic adults - survey

Newcastle University and Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust are leading on a survey regarding access to physical healthcare for autistic adults.

The study aims to understand the specific physical health needs of autistic people. It will assess to what extent these needs are currently being met, and the services that are currently being provided. The study then aims to develop an intervention that will improve access to the healthcare older autistic people need.

The team would like to hear from a wide range of health professionals. The results from this survey will be used to inform policymakers and NHS England about clinical practice. The research team have NHS ethics approval. The survey takes around 20-25 minutes to complete.
