Autism and teenagers: an online resource

Middletown Centre for Autism, partners of Network Autism, have produced an online Teenage resource, aimed at supporting young autistic people, their families and the professionals working with them.

The resource outlines the strengths and skills of autistic teenagers before examining some of the issues they may face around areas such as:

  • emotional wellbeing
  • relationships and sexuality
  • employability
  • social skills and friendships
  • transition

The resource offers some strategies to address these issues, before looking at some real-life case studies of young people that the Centre has worked with.

You can read the resource here.
