Social and leisure skills research bulletin

Middletown Centre for Autism, partners of Network Autism, have produced accessible research summaries of topics of relevance to professionals working in the field of autism, in particular professionals working in education or with children and young people.

This issue examines leisure and social skills and contains summarises of fifteen articles ranging in date from 2010 -2017, including topics such as promoting peer relationships, supporting independence, developing play skills and using hockey to teach leisure skills.

It also includes an interview with Adam Harris, an autistic adult who founded, an organisation that offers training and an online hub for the autism community in Ireland.
