Middletown Centre for Autism, partners of Network Autism, have produced accessible research summaries of topics of relevance to professionals working in the field of autism, in particular professionals working in education or with children and young people.
This issue reviews research into transition, and provides evidence that the right support during transition can have a positive impact on the lives of children with autism. It summarises 10 articles selected from peer reviewed journals over the period 2004 to 2009 and includes an interview with Mike Chapman, the Director of Services for Division TEACCH's supported employment programme.
