Autism practice: an interview with Dean Beadle and Dr Rona Tutt

Dean Beadle is public speaker who shares his experiences of life as an autistic person, and is also a journalist and patron and honorary president to several autism charities. Dr Rona Tutt OBE is a former headteacher and past President of the National Association of Head Teachers, and has been involved with the Autism Education Trust and the Autism and Girls forum since they started.

Dean and Rona kindly agreed to be interviewed for us when they attended the National Autistic Society Professional Conference in 2019.

In this interview Dean and Rona explore developments in autism practice and the impact of the Autism Act. They also discuss what changes they would like to see happen for autistic people in the years to come.
