Understanding the experiences of parents of children with ASD who receive ABA (applied behaviour analysis) provision at school



I am an ABA tutor who works with children with autism. Additionally, I am a third year psychology student whom is looking for participants for my undergraduate research project, which is looking at the experiences of parents of children with ASD whom receive ABA intervention at UK schools. I am looking for parents of children who:

* have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
have been engaging in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) school-based programmes for a minimum of 6 months
*if you live within the same household as the child
*have been receiving ABA school- based therapy sessions and his/her progress is supervised by Board Certified Behaviour Analyst or Applied Behaviour Analysis consultant
*receive funding for ABA- school based programme from Local Authority
*have been transferred from Special Needs school to a mainstream school

I can offer a face- to- face interviews to the parents who live in East Midlands/ West Midlands areas or Skype/phone call interviews to those located in other parts f the UK.
