Emotional wellbeing in autistic students: an interview with Justin Price

Justin Price is Head Teacher at Freemantles School in Woking which support children and young people with complex communication needs, many of whom are autistic. Since taking on this role Justin and the school staff have become progressively more interested in how they can effectively address all aspects of emotional wellbeing.

Justin kindly agreed to be interviewed for Network Autism when he attended the National Autistic Society Professional Conference in 2018.

In this interview Justin discusses how we can foster emotional wellbeing in autistic children and young people, ensuring it continues into adulthood. Justin also talks about impact of using Attention Autism approach and Intensive Interaction approaches within the school.
